I am a huge fan of Alyssa Milano and Funny or Die…and appreciate the creativity they used to discuss something a lot of people don’t know anything about.

A Final Embrace. #Bangladesh #Cheaplabor #Life

leave a comment »

My wife sent me this article this afternoon from the manufacturing wreckage that has been happening in Bangladesh this past week.  It is a horrific reminder that ‘cheap labor’ in developing countries are also people who have lives, who have love, who have dreams.  I hope we can think about that the next time we wear our Nikes, A&F, and other brands that are really commodities that support indentured service.  Ignorance is bliss.  Life is not cheap.

A great, quick documentary on the history of the Turban and the Sikh religion. Extremely relevant now considering the Sikh temple shooting.

More Inspiration with Bill Clinton at Davos – 2011

leave a comment »

I have had the opportunity to hear Bill Clinton on numerous occasions, and I have always come out more intelligent, aware, and inspired to do more. Once again, Bill Clinton does not disappoint. If you have time, or just want put this on in the background, it is worth it. He can take the most complex geo-social-political-economic issues and explain them in the simplest terms so that everybody understands the key issues. While we are trained to live in zero-sum game in business, sports, entertainment — he makes the crystal clear point that humanity does not to be based on winners and losers.

Why the public hates Corporate America right now? #misguided

I got this chart via the business insider.

This poses an interesting question. Does this mean that Americans believe that Corporate America is responsible to give them jobs? If that is the case, then the public is severely misguided.
