Guilty – Once you believe something is real, you transfer everything that you feel about it

This is a fantastic TED talk by special effects guru Rob Legato of Titanic and Apollo 13 fame. He discusses how he designs shots in films by observing what people noticed versus what they saw, so in fact it wasn’t real but people believed it to be real because they wanted to believe that. It is a smart discussion of how human vision and emotions relate.
